The Advisory Committee on Electromagnetic Compatibility ( ACEC) oversees the development of EMC standards within the IEC and provides guidance to IEC technical committees on the implementation of EMC standards within their product standards. IEC TC 77 develops basic and generic EMC publications for general application and for comprehensive safety analysis. It also liaises with international, regional, and national organizations including the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
